G Data introduces new antivirus for Mac

The well-known German company has presented a new antivirus for Mac operating system OS X-based computers. The growing popularity that they have acquired the systems from Apple, both in terms of desktop as portable, has attracted the attention of cyber-crime, unfortunately, which has resulted in an increase of attacks and security risks affecting Leopard, Mountain Lion, and the most popular Mac applications.

In this sense the proposal of G Data is displayed as a complete solution and to keep in mind to protect our equipment, since acts against all kinds of threats, such as viruses, Trojans, spyware, worms, adware, keyloggers and phishing.

One of the main innovations offered by G Data is the protection of heterogeneous networks, i.e. not only detects threats that affect OS X but which can also wreak havoc on Windows environments, so it prevents spreading infection from OS X to Windows.

With regard to its interface has a "touch Apple" and is as attractive as simple as well as intuitive. To finish, I summarize its main features:

Protection anti-spyware and anti-phishing, which protects the users of programs spyware and fraudulent websites designed to steal personal and financial data.
Protection of computer networks. G Data AntiVirus for Mac ensures that these teams are not used as shuttles from attacks against Windows computers on the same network.
Scheduled scans and full scans, the latter only when the PC is not being used (scan mode sleep).

It is already available and supports 1 GB of RAM or higher, OS X Leopard-based computers.
